Impartiality Policy
Maverick Certification Services seeks to attain the highest degree of public confidence and trust in rendering unbiased services. Maverick Certification Services fully acknowledges the importance of impartiality in carrying out its Validation & Verification Services that are governed by the requirements of the International Standard ISO 17029, ISO14065, ISO14064-3, ISO 14066, IAF MD 6 and every member of its Validation & Verification services team, employees, volunteers, and contractors that commits and adhere to the following policies:
- Maverick Certification Services will act impartially, within its policies and requirements to practice fairness and veracity prior to Verification and Verification guidelines.
- will not restrict Verification services on the grounds of undue financial or other limiting conditions, such as membership of an association or group.
- will be responsible for the impartiality of its Validation & Verification services and will not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality.
- does not offer consultancy services as part of the Validation & Verification services, where we provide guidance will not perform Validation & Verification activities.
- will not disclose reports to the clients during the Validation & Verification services but can disclose to the customers by Validation & Verification coordinators after the completion of the Validation & Verification reports, and authorities having jurisdiction for the purpose of reporting compliance or in cases of conflicts or non-conformances. All documentation or records which are intended for any other purpose and viewed by any other party than mentioned above can only be disclosed with a written consent.
- will ensure through internal procedures, the objectivity of the Validation & Verification services and Validation & Verification activities and manage potential conflict of interest according to the standards of the applicability.
- will base all of its decisions on objective evidence obtained through an effective process based on objective evidence of conformity or nonconformity, and that any decisions made are not influenced by other interested parties.
- Maverick Certification Services corporate policies and practices ensure that the highest standards of integrity are applied to all Verification services and Verification services activities.
- Maverick Certification Services personnel will not be influenced by financial, commercial, or other pressures when conducting Verification and Verification services, and will take action to address any situation that would affect impartiality. Personnel are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest in the Declaration Form (Maverick Certification Services).
- Maverick Certification Services personnel taking part in Verification services and Verification activities, both internal and external, will act impartially when executing their responsibilities.
- Maverick Certification Services will identify threats to its impartiality on an ongoing basis, these includes threats that arise from its activities, related bodies, connections, or relationships of its personnel.
- Maverick Certification Services will enter into legally-enforceable agreements with its clients and retain all authority and responsibility for Verification services and Verification activities, decisions and statements.
- Maverick CertificationServices management system has necessary protocols and guidelines to ensure that these policies are strictly upheld, enforced and implemented.
- Maverick Certification Services recognizes that threats to impartiality include the following:
i. Self-interest threats - threats that arise from a person or body acting in its owninterest to benefit itself
ii. Self-review threats - threats arising from a person reviewing the work that they conducted and facilitated
